It was a throwback to 1990

Sail Date: August 29, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were in one of the balcony suites and it looked like it was straight out of the 90's. The rooms haven't been updated since the ship was built. Because of this they had really cheap lower deck rooms and the cruise was filled with a bunch of loud trashy people (it looked like the inside of a Wal-Mart) who ruined the cruise a bit. They flooded the deck basically 24 hours a day and made being up there almost unbearable. On formal night, they showed up to the formal dinner wearing basketball shorts, flip flops and sleeveless t-shirts. I will never take another carnival "Wal-Mart" cruise ever again. Also the room we were in had issues with the sprinkler fire system and leaked yellow smelly water all over the bed.

Cabin / Stateroom
Tip- spend a little more and take a nicer cruise, trust me.
