Definitely at the bottom of the list in terms of cruise ships; not due to lack of cleanliness or facilities\, just overall cheap and tack - not that Carnival is known for being high-end. The biggest issue was the pools being very underwhelming. I wasn't expecting much out of the ship\, I got a very good deal\, at the very least\, I expected to lay out by the pools and cool down in the water. This is barely an option - there are two pools and two hot tubs. Both pools are very small\, and one is pretty shaded. Seeing people crammed into the shallow pools was unappealing. When you spend only two out of five days actually at port with access to gorgeous Caribbean beaches\, and have to be back on the ship by 3:30 - it's just not worth it.

Pros: Price

Cons: Time at port

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.

Ship Quality
Fine. Pools are terrible.
Food and Dining
No shortness of food - quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Cabin / Stateroom
Good size\, clean\, lots of practical design features - shelves\, storage\, hooks\, etc. Shower and toilet worked great.
Service and Staff
Staff and crew was very pleasant and helpful.
Activities most of the day - if you don't mind spending a lot of time indoors.
