5 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 17, 2015
Ship: Carnival Triumph
Cabin Type: Balcony
Cabin Number: 8360
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 2 years ago
From the incredibly loud music to the particularly unhappy bar staff(can't blame em, people are rude), the pool areas are a must-miss. The food was better than I remember and our room steward was excellent. Debarkation was phenomenal. 12 minutes from when they called our number (17), we were putting our 7 (yes, 7) suitcases in the car.

I don't think we will cruise carnival again, but for the money, it was a fun time. Take some xanax with you and you'll have a blast.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was great. Hot water, regular service and no evidence of the 2013 disaster.

Ship Tip

If you intend to gamble a bit, hit it hard on day one to secure the favor of the floor bosses, you'll save a ton on drinks.
