Carnival Cruise Fun

Sail Date: December 01, 2014

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

We had a great time aboard the Carnival Triumph. It was a much smaller ship than two others we have traveled aboard, giving an intimate feeling. The crew was outstanding and the food was great as usual along with stellar entertainment. The one thing I found inferior was the stop over in Progresso. There were very limited excursions. Having already visited the ruins, we took the beach option and was disappointed in the experience. The "free drinks" were a joke - watered down alcohol.  The buffet was okay but limited selection. The best thing going at that stop was the $20 massage beachside.

This is second time we have taken a 5-night cruise Progresso and Cozumel. We took it last year out of New Orleans on the Elation. The two cruises were comparable in terms of value and quality.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Children's Programs I don't know, we did not have any children in our group.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Cabin / Stateroom

The one knock I saw on this ship was there was no private adult area - like the serenity pool area on the Elation and the Magic. But it did have a great sports bar that the other two ships did not have.
