5 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: November 18, 2013
Ship: Carnival Triumph
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Cabin Number: 1230
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 3 years ago

We had a great time on the Triumph. The staff was wonderful, and the food and entertainment were top notch. This was not our first cruise and we were aware of the trouble the ship had earlier this year but our trip went smoothly and we would book on the Triumph again.

Ship Tip

Take the time to eat in the dining room especially if you have children. The food seems to be much better quality and the atmosphere calmer. The staff take the time to learn your names and truly seem to enjoy helping the children. Our 10 yr old enjoyed himself thoroughly.

Truly not much to do in this port unless you book the excursion to the ruins which requires a long bus trip.

I felt like the ship should have spent longer in this port.
