4 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: September 20, 2012
Ship: Carnival Triumph
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

The cabin and room staff were fantastic. Enjoyed the big screen TV on deck 11. Comedy show was good. The drink waiters would run over people in their rush. The gymn and walking track were very welcome. On Sunday the staff got the Texans game on the big TV. That was very considerate. The 24 hour dining option was a disappointment. Only pizza or room service. The transation from the prior cruise left some details unattended but nothing big.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I expected better quality food. Generally the food had been left in the warmer too long and was dry. The dining was better on other cruises. By our choice we did not go to the Paris dining room.

Loved it! I would go back just for the room.

Pros: Time away from the kids

Cons: The food quality was not as good as expected.
