Not the best cruise

Sail Date: September 15, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

It was definitely an older ship. If you've never been on a cruise before, you probably wouldn't notice.

Pros: I wasn't at work

Cons: The ship and Cozumel excursion

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.

Ship Quality
Seemed to be a smaller ship. Needs some updating for sure.
Food and Dining
Always eat in the dining room and you should never have a problem. The buffets are never that great and the people are always rude and pushy.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size of the room was comparable to previous ships, but could definitely use some updating.
Service and Staff
Most of the crew was awesome, with the exception of the excursion desk who didn't really help with a problem we had with an excursion. Carnival crews are usually great.
Seems like they try to pack 7 days of entertainment into a 5 day cruise. Lots of shows overlapped so it was difficult to see everything. Maybe just some better scheduling would be nice.
