Good for first time cruisers

We have been on many cruises over the years, several on Carnival. This cruise was definitely a disappointment in many ways. The non-stop music on deck was way too loud - really it doesn't have to be that way and it sent us scurrying back to our cabin to sit on our private deck. We could still hear the bass thump though. The food in the main dining room (Paris) was aweful and after the second day, we ended up eating on deck where they had the same food and then additional food which was quite good. Because the food is such a big part of a cruise, this is a real disappointment. Also, the ship is very hard to navigate because the London dining room is smack in the middle of the ship and you must either go up 2 decks and around or down 2 decks and around. The show on the last night , \"The Big Easy\", was terrible. It did not reflect New Orleans in any way and the songs were a mishmash. In addition, it was a bit offensive at several points. I would not take this cruise again.

Pros: Stateroom was spacious and updated nicely

Cons: The food in the dining room was not good\, some of it unedible
