Relaxing cruise with my daughters

Sail Date: July 26, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Ship was clean and looked refurbished as I know it's one of the older Carnival ships. We were disappointed because they were not showing the Olympics (other than the opening ceremony) on the big screen by the pool.

Pros: Ship was not crowded

Cons: Toilet in cabin was stained inside; beds were hard and uncomfortable

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Few choices on the menu in the dining room\, and that's the only place to get the warm chocolate melting cake which is delicious. Buffet on the Lido was average at best.
Cabin / Stateroom
Beds uncomfortable. Roomy bathroom but stained toilet was disturbing. Overall the cabin was fine. Balcony small but nice place to sit and read.
Service and Staff
Seems like the staff folks were not as friendly as on other ships.
Few trivia contests (except for sports trivia)\, few bingo games\, both of which we like. My daughter liked the spa.
