Cruising with the grandkids

Sail Date: March 12, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Triumph is a great ship to take grandkids on. 4 and 5 days cruises are long enough for kids.

Pros: Activities for the grandkids

Cons: Progresso. not enough to do there. The water there looks like Galveston. Surely there are other places on the Carribean side that are better.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Food and Dining
Ali was a wonderful waiter at my time dining.Table 212
Cabin / Stateroom
Very noisy. Veranda deck under the lido deck midship. You could hear peope running, chairs moving around and carts overhead.
Service and Staff
Wisdom helped us with a different cabin, due to wet carpet.
Ship Quality
Entertainment
Children's Programs
Eventhough there were over a 1,000 children on board, the staff made it a memorable time for the kids.
