Disappointing Cruise

Sail Date: January 21, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

Dirty stateroom and the staff were not friendly or helpful. One stewart told my Daugther in Law her bathroom was too messy. Programs for children were advertised but nothing was available for children except the swimming pool.

Pros: Dining room staff

Cons: It took 3 hours standing in line to get on the ship. The staff was not friendly or help during the cruise.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Overall condition of room was less than average. Nothing exceeded expectations
Entertainment
Below average when compared to other cruises. Jugglers & Magic Acts! Please! Even the movies were poor!
Food and Dining
When compared to the other cruises I have been on, this food was below average. Nothing was exceptional.
Ship Quality
The entire ship was not very clean. Dirty dishes were left on tables during meal times. Long lines for meals and events.
Service and Staff
The entire crew did not try to be friendly or helpful. This started from getting on the ship to getting off the ship. The crew did what was necessary nothing more!
Children's Programs
Really nothing was scheduled or made available for children. Except the swimming pool.
