5 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 02, 2012
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

Overall, for the age of the ship, it was pretty good. We sailed on this ship when it was very new and it was exceptional then. Some areas are getting a little worn and some of the areas smelled old and musty. Our stateroom bathroom smelled bad.

Service and Staff

Everyone was extremely friendly and courteous exc ept for one guy in the main dining room. He needs another job with not so much people contact.

Ship Quality

The ship is getting old and needs some renovation. Many areas smelled musty and not so good. Our stateroom bathroom smelled terribly.

Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was good except the smell. It just smelled old.

Pros: The food in the London dining room was very good.

Cons: Buffet food was just ok. Ice cream machines did not work a lot of the time.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.
