Was not our best Carnival Cruise.

Sail Date: December 29, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

We had taken a cruise on the Conquest 8 months ago and were told the ships were pretty much the same. Conquest is Much nicer!! Layout of both ships is the same.

Pros: Were traveling with 17, was fairly easy to go our own way and meet up.

Cons: The dining room service was not good, were seated at our table 20 minutes before we were served WATER!

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.

Service and Staff
Staff did not go over and beyond, was very disappointed in service, this was our 6th cruise and the service especially dining room was never this bad!
Children's Programs
My son normally loves to go to the Camp Carnival, but this trip he went the first night and did not want to go back. We had pre-registered him before he got on the ship and the first night we stood in line for 35 minutes to check him in and were told we had to pick him up in one hour!
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a decent size for a cabin.
Food and Dining
Food was okay, not great by any means.

The two shows we went to were ok, and the comedians were the same the whole cruise.
