Good value for money

Sail Date: December 05, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

It's an older ship, but for shorter trips (5 days and less) it provides enough of everything and is a very good value for money.

Pros: Staff friendliness

Cons: rooms close to restaurant smell very much of food during diner times.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Children's Programs
We had to pay full price for or toddler of 15 Months, but carnival does not offer anything for children below 2 years old.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Nice lobster :-) Good variety
Cabin / Stateroom
We booked one room for 4 adults and a toddler - but was way too small actually and we should have been better informed about this before our booking.
Entertainment
Service and Staff
Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Only disappointed was the staff at the gym which seem just not to be around or attentive at all.
