Our November 2011 cruise

Sail Date: November 26, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Room Type: Balcony

A very pleasant crew, nice cabins and great food. The dining staff and room steward were excellent. Every crew member we met or even passed in the hall greeted us with a smile. The ship was handled expertly - even with force 7 winds we felt very little jarring. Our only concern was with the life boat drill. It was about 15 minutes late, when it did start there was no roll call and passengers were not required to put on their life jackets. We feel this area really needs some work.

Pros: A superb crew - very pleasant and attentive. Meeting new people, The luxury to just rest, take naps and not having to cook or clean up

Cons: Life boat drill was very poor - it was abouit 15 minutes late, we were kept standing around for a long time then when it did start no roll call was taken, we were not required to put on our life vests - generally very poorly organized.
