Great Cruise

Sail Date: August 20, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We heard that this was the last cruise for this ship before it was to be refurbished. It did show a little wear and tear in places that were not immediately obvious. Did not affect the pleasure of the cruise or the work of the wonderful staff.

Pros: The stateroom was especially comfortable

Cons: Having to change the itinerary because of Hurricane Irene

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was larger than we expected and very comfortable.
Service and Staff
Staff were all very courteous and friendly. Our particular steward, Udi, was wonderful--very helpful, funny and polite!
Entertainment
The evening stage shows were very well done. The dancers, singers, band seemed exceptional from other cruises we've been on.
Key West, Florida
I think the best thing to do in Key West is go on the bus or trolly tour. You get to see everything and then still have time to go back and explore more specifically.
Don't Miss: Duval St in general is a must see.
