Room Type: Oceanview

We left NJ a day before Irene hit; could not have had better timing. Aside from a suttle sewage smell mysteriously appearing around the ship , everything was great.Ship staff pleasant and accomodating.

Pros: food, comedians onboard. Ports of call

Cons: time in port, left too early.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

nothing special here. Keep away from the overpriced Bingo, and the amatuerish games remanicent of summer camp.
Ship Quality
nice and clean.despite its age, pristine at all times.
mystery smell in hallways at off hours. No smell in room.
Food and Dining
menu trimmed from prior Carnival sailings, but still a great value.
Cabin / Stateroom
extremely clean throughout trip.
Service and Staff
all staff and crew members polite nad helpful.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
A relatively new port with an evcellent beach and local market sure to stray from the taco and fajita joints and find some authentic Mexican fare.Peddlers are not over aggresive.
Don't Miss: water sports @ beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
Always plenty of options here. too short of time in port, need another 2-3 hours.
Don't Miss: Chakannub Park- something for everyone.
