The ship overall was in decent shape, given the amount of use it is subject to.

We took a taxi to Playa Uva which is a beach with snorkeling. There was a restaurant and reef with all of the euipment provided. It was very safe and the staff was super friendly. Entrance is only $8 each which enables the visitor to receive that equivalent amount in bar tickets. Overall, this was a pleasant option for the afternoon and we enjoyed ourselves there. The mall at the pier is pretty expensive and you can find some good deals at other places along the main road. Everyone was very nice, though and we enjoyed the visit although it was very very hot!
Don't Miss: Snorkelling is abundant at Cozumel and can be done from the local beaches.

This is a very small mexican town with not a lot of development. We took a tour through the locals that was much less expensive than the excursions on the ship. We visited local salt pools, flamingo pools, ruins and a beach for only $15 each.

Pros: We liked our balcony stateroom and the excellent service by all of the staff

Cons: Bathroom was in need of repair as the tile was mildew/dirty. All in all, with the amount of wear and tear this ship goes through that was minimal.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!
