Good cruise, ports were great

This was my second cruise and the first for my wife. This was our honeymoon. Overall we had a good experience. Stopping off at the 3 ports were great - Belize, Isla Roatan and Cozumel. Staying on the ship after a while got boring. The entertainment is low-level and a lot of the events they held throughout the day were misleading in our opinion.

There were lots of food options and was always well prepared, but I guess its hard to cook for 3,000 people for 7 days. We eat a lot of fresh food and many times the food lacked flavor and we could tell it was very processed.

The ship and our room was always clean. The staff was attentive and was on the ball.

Pros: Excursions

Cons: Entertainment was bland

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Food was OK, but we were ready for some fresh, clean food by mid-week. Some of the flavoring was bland and a lot of it was very processed. I wish they had more local food options.
Entertainment seemed to fall on 2 sides - kid friendly or for the elderly. We got bored easily with the cheap laughs.
Service and Staff
Always attentive and willing to help with anything you needed.
Cabin / Stateroom
If you can swing it, stay near the aft (back) of the boat. (1) if the waves are rough, you won't feel it as much and (2) towards the very back are larger balconys
Belize City, Belize
Great excursion and guide from Bak-a-Bush tours. Gave us lots of background on the country and was very knowledgeable.
Don't Miss: Altun Ha and River Wallace excursion
Cozumel, Mexico
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Zip lining was fun and Tabyana Beach is beautiful
