Review summary
The boarding process has improved and seemed to go smoothly . We were very late getting our bags. The room Stewart went on his break before we got our bags and seemed to be very new and inexperienced. We booked two rooms one balcony and a inside room for our family of 5 . The three young girls slept in the inside cabin which was great because it stayed dark in there and allowed them to sleep in. This was our 5th cruise and we were very disappointed in the quality of the food and the level of service. In the past that is what we enjoyed most . The first port was changed due to pressure problems with the water. We were rerouted to Cozmel on Monday as opposed to going there on Thursday. We did not have any tours scheduled so we were unaffected but many on the cruise had problems with the tours they had scheduled outside of Carnival. Tuesday the next day our port was Belieze we had scheduled a tour with a outside tour company shore excursions.com . What we were told get a number and you will be called by numbers to get off the cruise boat. We stood in line at 7:15 am and recieved the number 2 but because we booked from a tour company outside of Carnival they made everyone who did not choose to go on a Carnival tour wait until they took all of there tour guests off first. Being that we were past guests we were invited to the past guest party however they invited my 49 yr husband and my 10 year old daughter only. In the morning we put an order in for room service we never received our order correct. The quanity of food was weak. When you order fruit plate expect 3-4 small slices of fruit. The waiters in the dining room were very dry in nature and did not display the fun personalities that we had enjoyed in the past. Needless to say probably our last Carnival cruise. We went on the cruise planning on booking our next one on a special they had talked about.Ship experiences
