This was our first cruise and I had read many reviews. True the swimming pools are crowded. Overall the ship is huge and there is a lot of room for everyone. The dinners were good and the waitstaff was excellent. Such an abundance of food at the buffets you are bound to find something you like. The rooms are a little small but no worse than we expected, there was plenty of room for the 3 of us and all of our stuff. plenty of electrical outlets - I did follow another review and brought an alarm clock. When you wake up in pitch darkness it is hard to tell if it is day or night. I would suggest setting up exact times and places to meet up with family and friends as you can spend a lot of time walking around looking for each other.

We did the clear kayak and snorkeling tour some friends did the deluxe beach excursion. both were good, just depends on what you want to do. You have to see the beautiful clear blue water. You can also just shop in Cozumel and relax at the beach without an excursion. Will probably do that if we go again.

We took the Uxmal Mayan Ruin tour. It was interesting and neat to climb on the ruins. Don't expect much from the sack lunch but there is a restaurant that is pretty good.

Pros: The food and the shows

Cons: crowded swimming pools
