Review Summary

Long lines to board but then we were later on boarding than anticipated, but the staff handled eveyone's problems efficiently.Cabins were clean , well maintained steward always remembered our names, and went out of his way to be of help. The dining waiter was exceptionally good he also remembered all the names, he was knowledgable about the food, had a wonderful sense of humour (and could really sing!!)and a thoroughly nice guy.Every time we saw a member of staff, from off-duty waiter to electrician, they enquired whether we were having fun...was everything ok...we were SO impressed! I personally do not like garish Vegas-style decor, but the ship was very well maintained ,clean, neat, and all in working order. The beds, tho' they seemed hard, were the most comfortable we've slept on..GREAT! We had some mildly rough weather, but the Captain explained the reason, and that it was normal, thereby putting some people's minds at rest..........we were never bothered by the swells. Alli all we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.PS One in our party was mildly seasick, and the acupuncture wrist bands not only work extremely well, but are less than half the price of the same item at home!!

Pros: wonderful staff, knew our names, great service

Cons: entertainment
