Mother/Daughter get-away

Sail Date: January 12, 2008

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

This was my second cruise and my daughters first, and we thought it was the best. We always kept busy with different activities or just relaxing in the sun. The ports that we visited were nice, and the shopping was great. The staff on board the ship was awsome. The food was great. So many different things to choose from. No one should ever go hungry.

Pros: Beautiful ship for its age, food was great, staff was very helpful

Cons: had to come back to reallity

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Grand Turk Island
We just stayed right there once off the ship, which was nice. You could enjoy the beach, and also do some shopping.
Don't Miss: Have to have a drink at Jimmy Buffets Margarittaville

San Juan, Puerto Rico
We didn't get there till later and we were there during the evening, which to me is scary. Stay on the main streets. Some good shopping. Would of rather been there during the day time hours.
Don't Miss: Must stop at Senor Frogs
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
The shopping and Sapphire Beach was great. Some very hilly country side.
