It was a very nice cruise

Sail Date: March 17, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was quite nice. The room was good sized. However, there were only 2 beach towels and none provided on the deck. Several of the deck chairs were broken and it was difficult to find open area on the deck on days at sea. The entertainment was very good. We had an early evening setting, that left a lot of time open before the later night activities. We would have enjoyed more activities on the ship.

Pros: Cozamel and Grand Cayman Island were beautiful. Shore excursions were wonderfully set up and made the most of our time.

Cons: I did not enjoy Ocho Rios as well. 3 days at sea were a bit too much

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
We went scuba diving and horseback riding. The coral was beautiful and the excursion well organized. The ranch we went horsebacking riding at was wonderful. They had a fun evening planned for us
Don't Miss: Evening horseback riding. scuba diving.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
The Dunn Falls were gorgeous and a must see. However, you were expected to tip your guide and the shops leaving were very agressive about trying to get you to buy. Shopping was not enjoyable due to the agressive people who all wanted to bring you into their shops and if you said no thank you they made comments about you being rude. Expect to pay to go to the beach.
Don't Miss: Dunn's falls
George Town, Grand Cayman
Wonderful scuba diving. It was a more expensive island. Need to make sure to leave extra time to get back to the ship due to traffic and that you have to take a boat back to the ship
