Not a wonderful experience!

After 17 cruises, and this the 6th on Carnival I find that the quality and the hospitality is back sliding. Cruising is a time when you expect to be pampered and given top notch service by the staff. You will not get that on this ship. Most were friendly some not even near so....except on the last night when they expect a tip! We requested that all gratuities be taken off our account and paid those that we felt deserved it. (Half of those listed we never even saw) Teens were jumping from the "top" of the hot tub into the pool and no security ever attempted to stop it. The buffet lines were long and crowded and nothing changed for breakfast save french toast in place of pancakes. One line only for omletts! Other Carnival ships were much nicer and better taken care of than this one. Had we not been traveling with a large group and had our own parties etc. it would have been a very long 7 days.

Pros: Room steward did a great job although I never saw him or her!

Cons: The food, service and condition of the ship.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.
