6/29-7/4/02 NOVA SCOTIA,CANADA, WAS THE BEST VACATION MY FAMILY AND I EVER HAD. THE EMBARKATION WENT VERY SLOWLY BECAUSE ONE MACHINE MALFUNCTIONED. 0NCE ON THE SHIP, MY 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL SIGNED UP WITH CAMP CARNIVAL AND THOSE COUNSELORS -- GOD BLESS THEM -- WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ENTERTAIN THE KIDS THE WHOLE WEEK, NON-STOP AND ALWAYS WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACES. MY 17-YEAR-OLD BOY WAS WITH KIDS HIS AGE. THEN WE'D MEET TO GO TO EAT OR SWIM OR DANCE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. OUR CRUISE DIRECTOR, COREY SCHMITDS, WAS SOOO HALARIOUS!!! THE SHOWS WERE GREAT!!! FOOD SERVICE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! A LOT OF THE TEENAGERS WERE WILD AND OUT OF CONTROL, BUT THAT DOES NOT RELFLECT ON CARNIVAL'S CREW. THAT REFLECTS ON THEIR PARENTS THAT WEREN'T WATCHING WHAT THEIR KIDS WERE DOING BEHIND THEIR BACKS. THIS WAS OUR 1ST CRUISE AND IT WON'T BE OUR LAST, THANKS TO A GREAT CREW AT THE CARNIVAL TRIUMPH...THANKS...DAISY
