I curised with Carnival for the fifth time over spring break with the whole family. This is a wonderful ship and Carnival is doing an excellent job. We booked late and still had a wonderful balcony cabin for the parents and a nearby inside cabin for the teenagers. We were on the east intinary with is fine except for the San Juan port of call. They don't get to San Juan until 6:00pm and then leave at 2:00am. It really is not worth getting off the boat in Old San Juan at Night, Everthing closes and it gets a little scarey in old San Juan. Our best post was St. Croix. It is a wonderful island and not overcrowed like St. Thomas. The best rum prices are still at K-Mart on the island of St. Thomas. The only problem on the Truimph was the lack of deck space on the days at sea (4 days). You had to get up before dawn to even have a chance. Carnival must do something about the saving of deck chairs, they are full all day with someones shoes of book, but no one sits in the chair for hours. With 3,000 passengers they need more deck space.
