Great service

Sail Date: June 20, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Suite

Very clean with excellent staff in the staterooms and waiters. Food was not up to par with other experiences. Even though the wait staff worked really hard, it was served cold at time (when it should be warm) and ice cream melted. Websites to get travel documents were confusing. When flight reservations are made with the cruise line, it would help if the staff at the information desk had information to help with questions. Only 2 shops on board.

Pros: Staff on board

Cons: food

Recommends Carnival Triumph? No.

Food and Dining
Quality of food was poor, service (wait staff) was excellent
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Would be nice to have a person on-board to give talks about the places where the ship will be stopping. Have seen this done previously and it was great. Nightly entertainment was not so good.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
would help to have thermostat in the room rather than the fan adjustments in the ceiling
Saint John, New Brunswick
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Took the tall ship trip, only went to the end of the harbour, then back.
