Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Ship Quality
We never got lost, but we did take a different elevator a couple of times that got us turned around, but that was our own fault. It gave us a laugh every time!
Food and Dining
The food was wonderful, with plenty of variety. We had early dining and it worked great for us. I was crazy about the chocolate melting cake!
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was completely comfortable. The closets were big, the bed was soooo comfy, and everything was meticulous. The Triumph is an older ship, but it was our first cruise and we wouldn't have known. We already booked another one!!!
Service and Staff
We didn't meet one staff member having a bad day. If they were, they never showed it. Very professional, and very friendly. They felt more like fellow travelers than crew members. They all go above and beyond.
Everything was fun. You could participate or not, but there were always tons of options.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We took a tour of San Juan, but we were there at night so it was just okay. Plus it was drizzly and rainy that evening. We shopped and walked back to the ship. It was okay, not my favorite though.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
We took a tour of St. Maarten. The port is beautiful. Very clean, and welcoming. The tour was informative and interesting. We shopped and just walked around there. It was one of our favorite places. We visited a little Catholic church there, and got to go to the beach for a while.
Don't Miss: If you like Star Wars you need to visit the Yoda Guy. He helped create Yoda and many other movie characters. We got a great souvenier for our son and a picture of Nick Maley signing it.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
We loved St. Thomas. We took a tour and had a lot of fun. One of our favorite places was Mountain Top. Famous for their Banana Daiquiris. We had one at 9:30 a.m. (there is fruit in it!) We are so glad we got a chance to visit there as it burned to the ground 5 days later. I hope they rebuild it so that others can enjoy the view from up there.
Don't Miss: Mountain Top when they rebuild
