THE SHIP HAD A VERY CLOSED IN, TIGHT FEELING. OUR BALCONY RAILINGS WERE COVERED IN RUST. IN ST THOMAS THEY ACTUALLY CLOSED OUR BALCONY TO CUT-AWAY THE DAMAGED RAILING! NO WAY! DO THIS ON YOUR OWN TIME, WE'RE PAYING FOR THE PLEASURE OF SITTING OUTSIDE. THREE HOURS OF NON-STOP SAWING AND HAMMERING IS UNACCEPTABLE. ALSO, YOU SHOULD NEVER BOOK A CABIN ABOVE THE SHOW LOUNGE....REALLY LOUD! ALSO, IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO ROLL THAT VOLKSWAGEN SIZED STROLLER EVERYWHERE YOU GO. THIS IS NOT A THEME PARK! STROLLERS WERE EVERYWHERE BLOCKING THE "FLOW" AND THERE SHOULD BE SOME REGULATION REGARDING THIS. PARENTS EVEN BROUGHT THE STROLLERS TO MUSTER DRILL! OTHER THAN SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN, IF YOU CAN'T CARRY THEM OR THEY CAN'T WALK ON THEIR OWN, MAKE ANOTHER ARRANGEMENT. AS AN ADULT, YOU COULD NOT ENJOY THE POOLS OR HOT TUBS. THEY WERE FULL OF BARELY SUPERVISED CHILDREN COMPLETE WITH THEIR "SWIMMIES" AND FLOATS. THE TOP DECK POOL WAS CLOSED FOR REGROUTING MOST OF THE TRIP MAKING THINGS THAT MUCH WORSE.

Food and Dining

THE FOOD WAS SO SO. DINING TIMES WERE FINE BUT OUR WAITER HAD NO RELIABLE HELP. LOTS OF NIGHTS WE WERE NOT OFFERED ANYTHING BUT WATER OR BAR SERVICE EVEN THOUGH WE ASKED FOR TEA AND SODAS. ONE NIGHT 90% OF THE DINING ROOM HAD LEFT BEFORE WE WERE SERVED OUR DINNER.

Entertainment

ENTERTAINMENT WAS SO SO. THE SHOWS SEEMED THROWN TOGETHER AND REALLY HAD NO FLOW TO THEM. THE MAGICIANS WERE PITIFUL. SHORE TOURS WERE CANCELLED....A LOT...AND THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH SPACES TO GO AROUND. VERY DISSAPOINTING.

Service and Staff

THE CABIN STEWARD WAS GREAT! FROM DAY 1 HE KNEW ALL OF OUR NAMES. THE PURSERS DESK ON THE OTHER HAND NEEDS MANAGEMENT. FORGET ABOUT CALLING OR RECEIVING CALL BACKS, THEY WERE NON EXISTENT. AND AS FOR THE SHORE EXCURSION DESK, IT WAS NEVER OPEN! ONE TIME WE WERE NEXT TO BE SERVED AND THEY CLOSED IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF US BECAUSE THERE WAS A SHOPPING TALK ABOUT TO START! BIG DEAL, I NEEDED TOUR INFORMATION NOT WHERE TO BUY THE BEST JEWELRY!

Ship Quality

THE SHIP NEEDS A LOT OF TLC. LOTS OF BURNED OUR LIGHT BULBS, DIRTY MIRRORS AND GLASS. THE HALLWAYS SMELLED UNCLEAN.

I NEEDED A REFRIGERATOR FOR MY INSULIN. I CALLED THE CRUISE LINES WEEKS BEFORE AND WAS ASSURED EVERY CABIN HAD A FRIG. NOT TRUE! THERE WERE ONLY A FEW ON BOARD AND NONE WERE AVAILABLE. I HAD TO KEEP IT IN THE ICE BUCKET FOR 7 DAYS! THE CABIN STEWARD WAS GREAT ON MAKING SURE WE HAD ICE FOR IT AT ALL TIMES.

IT WAS OK. WE'VE BEEN THERE A FEW TIMES BEFORE AND IT WAS NICE TO SEE THAT THE AREA HAS BEEN CLEANED-UP.

A WASTE OF TIME. ARRIVAL AT 5:00 AND BACK ON THE SHIP AT 11:30 DOESN'T CUT IT.
Don't Miss: SR. FROGS-IT ROCKS IF YOU'RE YOUNG ENOUGH TO ENJOY IT.

THE BLACKBEARD TOUR HAS NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH PIRATE HISTORY. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU BOOK VIA THE CABIN TV THAT YOU TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN WAY BACK TO THE SHIP! VERY BORING!
