Room Type: Inside

Excellent trip. Carnival is great for families as there is a wide range of activities for both adult and youth. The entertainment was excellent. We had a couple of maintenance issues in our room, but the staff tried to fix them. The island choices were good with Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk very highly rated.

Pros: Activities for the kids, entertainment

Cons: Food was good but not as good as other cruises I have been on

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Food and Dining
Service was excellent. Good variety of choice on the dinner menu, but I thought that the quality of the food could have been better.

My kids had a lot of new friends. Carnival always had something going for them.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We went to the El Junque Rainforest. We enjoyed that.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Golf at Mahogeny Run course was good. It might have been a bit pricey at $165 for the quality of the course, though. Kids loved the Boss adventure.
Grand Turk Island
Kids really enjoyed going to Margaritaville. They have a huge swimming pool there.
