A Cruiser from Phila. Pa
My family and I just returned from an 8 day 7 night crusie on the Triumph. The ship was beautiful and the staterooms were extremely clean. The waiters, stateroom and dinner waiters were terriffic. The peopel in the Pursers Office could have been more friendly. The safes in the room need to be updated with a Password system. They use a credit card system, whic id a HUGE inconvienience for others in the room , who do not posess THAT particular credit card.. The itinerary was great, and the places were beautiful.
The msic by the pool NEEDS to be addressed. The same 15 songs played continously. The band was JUST ok. They talked more than played .
Food and Dining

There was no wanting for food throughout the ship at any given time. The service in the Breakfast Dining Hall, PAris Room could have been better.. Very slow...Also PLEASE have REAL ORANGE juiice That was not real orange juice coming from the containers. It read Orange juice cocktails

Lounge entertainment was very good, but the music by the POOL was extrmely poor. They Cd played the swame 15 songs for the entire 8 days. The band should be replaced, they talked more then they played. A better band would have guests dancing. Computerize the music by the pool, or have a DJ play music,, in between sets of the band, or once inb a while instead of the same FEW songs playing ocer the radio system

Some were good and some were really nasty. Some of the peope in the pursers office were short tempered, and not too cordial. Example is I pointed to our Maitr D at Half Moon Cay of a HAZERDOUS situation, and he completly did not address the problem , of live wires laying in water at the buffet HE set up and was in charge of. When anyone palce the tongs in a particular tray I pointed out to him, you woudlhave electricity shoot up your Arm. I told him, he tested it, seen I was on target, but continued to let the wiring lie in the water, instead of unplugging it. No staff seemed to go above and beyond, except fpr waiters, and waitresses, and cleaning staff.

The layout was very nice and convienient. The PA system could be improved, at times it was difficult to hear the announcements.
Cabin / Stateroom

Extremely clean, and well maintained. The stateroom employee we had was fantastic.. Need to update the room safes. Very inconvienient the method that is in Place. If the people in the room do NOT have the same credit card it causes grief for the person who locked it to constantly have to go back for anyone else in the room to enter it. GO with the PASSWORD SYSTEM which is available.
Pros: The Itinerary & Nite entertainement, waiter & Stateroom personel were great
Cons: Complaints and concerns were not handled professionally. The employees in the pursers office were not courteous, or friendly. The stateroom safes are out dated. Personal ID numbers should be used, NOT Credit cards. This causes an inconvience for others in the room who need access to the safe.
