bring a suitcase or a strong bag to carry home items like alcohol. the stupid box they stuffed 4 bottles of alcohol into broke on the way out of the ship and we lost all of our alcohol ($125 worth) on the sidewalk coming off the boat. so disapointed and angry they did not tape the box or split the alcohol. Be prepared to wait in long lines to get a soda anywhere on the boat. They need more areas for just non alcohol drinks so you can be served quickly.

They serve the same food on the lido deck buffet as they do in fine dining areas and no wait( although they were quick and not a long wait And. Service was great). Also don’t pack so much!! We did and didn’t use 1/2 of it. Really 1 elegant outfit, 2 shirts and shorts, 2 swimsuits, 3 pairs of shoes( sneakers, water shoes and flats or heels) and the rest just toiletries……seriously, and a pair a jeans and a sweater because sometimes it’s cold/ windy outside.Lastly, enjoy your vacation cause you deserve it!!!

Review the ships layout, menus, and activities before you board. Being knowledgeable prior to boarding makes you cruise much more enjoyable!

Do NOT do an excursion. They advertise lunch & drinks included for $99. No No lunch, and only 1 bar that’s all the way at the entrance! All the other bars close to the pool & beach, nope can’t get a drink there. It also said rooftop pool swim up bar…nope not at resort world! U have to get ur own transportation to get to that location. Total bait & switch! The spa charged me $49 for a service I did not sign up for - I had to go & argue to have that removed.

If you dine in the aft "Sunrise" dining room, take the time to learn how to access it's entrance on deck 3 from decks 2 or 6 (5 if you can stand the smoke in the casino).

The trip down was extremely rocky with lots of people sick due to the rough seas. Coming back was smooth. The captain said the North Atlantic from Jan to end of April can be rough at times. Also the behind the fun tour is very informative and you get to see lots of cool things.
