It is a kinship especially with the cruise Director Mickey. Don't go into this cruise expecting everything to be perfect, because any cruise isn't perfect in some aspect.

Always get travelers insurance because you never know what may happen. I fell on the cruise and was unable to walk afterwards due to an injury in my knee and we did not have the insurance therefore the visit to the medical deck was not covered.

Don’t do it. When I called customer service after my cruise to let them know what happened they offered me 15% off my next cruise. You couldn’t pay us to cruise with them again so that literally does nothing.

At least for us, on the floor we were on, the noise in the hall very late at night was horrible. I know I should complain because it's everyone's vacation time but it was bad.

Before the cruise everyone was raving about the Carnival Sunshine, we had a good experiece on the ship but to me it definitely needs upgrading and refurbishing.

Carnival has a great lineup of activities, and I've only half-jokingly referred to it as Spring Break for Adults. If you like lots of activites in a party-like atmosphere, Carnival is the one for you. A fair number of kids (even in October, which is when we cruised), but also a healthy dose of seniors complete the mix.

Great ship will go again. Highly recommend. Beside main dining issues it was a fantastic ship with tons of stuff to do. Didnt even see the whole ship.

Download the carnival hub app it was the best invention ever ! You can remake reservations from it, see the activities. And much more. Tip your cabin stewards and favorite bar servers a little extra and they will take care of you much better. There are 2 restaurants behind the lido market Buffett that is free and open for breakfast and lunch.

Don't pay for the drink package, you will get watered down drinks gradually. and you also have the tips to pay which makes it cheaper to buy drinks individually in many cases, especially if you go off ship.

Enjoy your vacation the way you want. Don’t blame the cruise line if you’re miserable. Even though we were bored because there wasn’t that many exciting things to do, we still had a great time. We did love the secret decks at the front of deck 6 and 7. It was always empty and relaxing.

Keep an eye on the limelight lounge comedy show times if you have late dining in the back of the ship. The elevators get swamped and the show blocks passage to deck 4. You will have to use the stairs to deck 5.
