Review summary

Ship was elegant, in new shape and gorgeous with only a few seat rips in the Marketplace lounge. Well appointed, food was excellent all around. Ship was clean and we really enjoyed the shows. I was travelling with my two adult sons. They sang for hours at the piano bar with Giovanni and thought the shows were top notch. Only concern is watch for double charges. Was charged extra drink and class at the fitness center. This cruise gets 4.9 stars in my book!

Top notch comedians and piano bar player from Hungary. Shows were very good except sometimes the singers were a little weak or screatchy.

I understand it had been refurbished 3 times. I was worried about going on an older ship but not the Sunshine. Was beautiful, NOT cheesy and very classy and put together. You could only tell it's age in some rust holes on Lido. Carnival has done a great job of upkeep on this vessel.

Seemed slow. Only had one person scanning ship ID's on exit. They had the other door open but closed off. Maybe add another person scanning cards and keep the line moving?
