Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did mostly "indoor" activities due to the weather. Comedy shows, tree lighting, love & marriage show, lots of trivia and karioki. They were all a ton of fun!! We haven't laughed that much in ages!!

Serenity Pool

Relaxing!!!

Hot Tubs

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were great!! All the performers were top notch. What I noticed most about them was that it really seemed like they were really happy to be there and they were really enjoying themselves. That always makes such a difference. But then, if I lived on a Carnival cruise ship, I guess I'd be pretty happy too!!

Liquid Lounge

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff went above and beyond to provide the greatest service and experience possible. Everyone was always smiling and offering to help with everything. I've never seen a kinder bunch of people.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was immaculate!! The only issue I had was having to walk through the casino to get to the main dining for dinner. My husband is a 2x double lung transplant patient. So to have to walk through all that cigarette smoke was truly awful!! :( It wasn't until the last night that we were informed/realized that we could take the elevator down or up and walk around it. A bit of an inconvenience, but worth it to avoid having him walk through the smoke.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was nice. Comfortable. Always clean. Size was a little cramped. But that was because we had a roll away bed added to our room. So without that I'm sure it would have fine.

Ship tip

Be ready to have fun!! Be open to try new things. Be prepared to laugh like never before!!

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

No excursion done here. We left from here. Very secure parking.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
There's a lot to do here if you have an adventurous spirit. Research the area before you go!! There are excursions you can pay for, but there are also free things you can do. There's a good bit of historical stuff to take in as well. There is a free beach area right by the port. Island people will approach you as you enter the beach to rent you chairs and/or umbrellas. We got 2 lounge chairs and a large umbrella for $25. You use them for as long as you stay. There are 2 little bars there that offer drinks. All through the town are shops but the straw market is most popular. It doesn't open until around 10am.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
When getting off the boat that morning we were offered 2 options. We could tag and check our luggage, OR we could take our own luggage. If you take your own luggage you get off the boat first. This is what we did. The process begins very early....around 630am. So you basically have to pack everything the night before. They will call you by deck, you exit the boat with your luggage. You then proceed through the port check and onto the bus to be taken to the parking area. It's really a pretty quick process.
