I want my old Carnival back

The Sunshine (Destiny) is a 16 year old ship\, the renovation added 3 decks very nice\, but starting to fall apart already\, my cabin-mate was in the mens bathroom on deck 14 in the handicap toilet and a heavy metal upper wall panel fell on his head\, the rest of the ship is much much worse\, cracked and popping tiles on deck 3 (lobby) metal ceiling tile fell in the marketplace just missing passengers

Pros: Elizebeth in the dinning room

Cons: you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear

Recommends Carnival Sunshine? No.

Ship Quality
as I said before you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear\,no place to read a book inside\, except for bars\, not very clean\, food under tables in marketplace\, tables not cleared
Food and Dining
Every meal in the dinning room was not hot or if it should be cold re Caesar salad served in a warm bowl\, I was on a Carnival transatlantic three years ago\, very nice\, service great\, ship was ship shape\, meals spectacular rack of lamb 3x\, lobster 3x\, beef wellington\, real dessert souffles\,food hot\, I even remarked as to how the galley can produce food the right temp and if med rare\, always got it right\, this cruise med rare was well done\, dinning room staff didn't know who go what at the table\, one night ordered thick cut of prime rib\, it went to the lady next to me\, appetizers constantly went to the wrong person\, a waste of $240\,000\,000
Cabin / Stateroom
size was nice\, amenities were nice\, would have been nice if there was an easy chair in cabin\, location was good near atrium\, except for uncleanliness and lack of soap in bathroom etc
Service and Staff
didn't vacuum nor mop the bathroom for the first 5 days\, garbage can full from last cruise\, no bar soap in shower\, it seems to me that the staff was schooled to parrot\" I'm sorry\" whenever there was a complaint\, BUT no followup\, ordered at Guy Fierri's french fries no salt I was asked by 3 staff what I wanted. In the marketplace the shade were down eevn though the food stations were full and the staff were leaning against the walls at 6:30am or 11:30am with more than 100 people waiting to have breakfast or lunch\, was told I must wait until 7:30am\, 12noon\, not even a continental breakfast station opened early.coffee and ice machines broke down constantly. The food tags were by the wrong foods\, oatmeal by grits\, also the staff manning the stations didn't know what things were\, when asked what the soup was\, told a completely different soup. The hours of the food in the marketplace were not long enough and changed constantly.
