Carnival Sunshine -- Never again

On the first night we were in Rm #6137 (Category 4D) it was wonderful. Starting from the second night we noticed a heavy bass coming through our floor and filling our room so that we felt it throughout our bodies until 1am. The third night felt even worse. We called customer services and they told us they would TRY to have the Liquid Lounge to lower the bass but it didn't help. It was a horrible experience with the extremely strong bass penetrating right through the floors and walls. The walls were so thin\, we could even hear people raising the volume on their TVs in an attempt to drown out the persistent bass beat. We finally couldn't tolerate it anymore and asked the customer service to find another room for us. They notified us of an empty room on deck 2 (Rm #2295). This was definitely a downgrade (Category 4C). Besides being on a lower deck\, several key amenities were also not as accesible from this room. We insisted that Customer Service find another solution\, but they had to audacity to claim that they were doing us a favor! With no other options left\, we could only resort to making the move to Rm #2295 or else suffer through the next 9 nights of Nightclub activity in the Liquid Lounge.
As customers of Carnival Cruises and citizens of America\, we deserve exactly what we pay for\, and that is to enjoy the cruise package we purchased\, exactly like all the other cruise goers. We shouldn't have to sacrifice our comfort because Carnival Cruise couldn't be bothered to notify potential customers of possible distubances. Furthermore\, this disturbance could have posed a health hazard and we deserved a fair warning when choosing our stateroom. Whether it is on the ship or off the ship\, we should be able to enjoy our time on the cruise\, but sadly that was not the case. Customer Service was very unhelpful.
