Overall the experience on the carnival sunrise was exactly what I needed. Relaxing, good vibes, lots to do, good food and drinks!

Carnival Sunrise was a beautiful ship with comfortable cabins. The staff seemed like zombies with the exception of a few. The cruise director, Erin, was phenomenal as were Nat and Stephen.

Disappointed w/ activities & game shows. Ok cruise.

Not bad. We went with our family including two young kids and we were able to relax a bit. The ports were nothing special, and the prices there were even more expensive than the US. The food in the dining room was nothing great, but the lunch options were fantastic.

Better service with communications with cruise when not retuning your calls.

As always, go into a cruise with a open mind. Don't expect everything to go smoothly but roll with any waiting or unseen issues. Relax, plenty of time to do what you want to do. Talking to fellow cruisers, workers and enjoy yourself. I'd say I'm hooked!!!

The Sunrise is a beautiful ship. Lines were not long & shows were a lot of fun.

I have never cruised before. My overall experience was terrible. Would probably never cruise again. Terrible bar service. Pictures are overpriced.

Overall I would recommend the sunrise and it's crew. We had an awesome time!

Cruise was nice, debarkation was terrible. Debarkation was bad enough that I may never want to cruise Carnival again.

This was a mommy/daughter trip, my daughter enjoyed it, especially the kids club. The stops were good and we had fun, however the ship itself was just okay and the food was horrible

My parents, who have never cruised and never really wanted to, are already talking about going back. I'd say that's a success! Thank you, Carnival Sunrise, for an unforgettable trip.

Overall we had fun, but I don't plan on doing a cruise again. I really disliked having to wait for 15 plus minutes for everything we needed. In the end we spent a ton of money for this trip with the drink packages and the upgraded room and it wasnt worth it due to the service and overcrowded boat.

The cruise was just okay, nothing outstanding to say about the cruise.

The trip was overall good get away, except when we started experiencing bad weather & basically the whole ship including workers got sick.

We had a great time aboard the Carnival Sunrise. I’ll start with the lows. The stateroom we booked was an L-shaped balcony. It was quite comfortable, however, the stateroom only had 2 drawers and one of them had the hairdryer (less space). Because of the layout of the cabin, the shower was slightly smaller than in other cabins. Instead of a rectangle shape, the shower had a D-shape. Another low, was on the lido marketplace right next to the dessert buffet stand the floor vibrated even under calm seas. These are mostly annoyances, and in no way had an effect in our cruising experience. As for the highs, well, just about everything else. The service was stout, the restaurants (555 Steakhouse, Cucina del Capitano, and Bonsai Sushi) were exquisite. Totally worth the extra charge. The decor of the ship was surprisingly elegant, compared to the Sunshine’s (sister ship) more casual look. Cruise Director Erin was a surprise, we were expecting “The Flying Scotsman”, but he was on vacation, and she did not disappoint. The shows were great as well as the singers (one of the women singers had some trouble adjusting her volume to match the flow of the shows, but recovered whenever she had trouble). The Fun Squad were funny and engaging. Would definitely cruise on the Sunrise again.
