Just got back from a 5 day cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Jamaica and Cayman islands on the Carnival Sunrise. Honestly it was a good cruise, nice ship, clean and not to congested... yes there were some lines but we only had to stand in line for maybe 3-4 minutes before we got our food. If you think you're going on any cruise ship and never have to stand in line then yes you're gonna be disappointed. I would definitely go back on the Sunrise in the future.

i would do this cruise again, ship and all except the port.

The Flying Scotsman is the BEST cruise director. Entertainment was great even during rough seas. Food is amazing (Guys Burger & Blue Iguana is a must!) There is quite a lot of activities on the ship for the day and The Port of call and staff are amazing.

Overall we had a great time! Several unexpected issues such as mechanical issues and a staff member needing emergency medical services.

We had so much fun and we will be cruising with Carnival again

We had a wonderful trip! The personnel in the port worked very efficiently for smooth embarkation and disembarkation. The ship is in a very good condition, and the room is comfy and clean! Especially thanks for our room steward Ryan and his crew members! Ryan remembered our names after first meeting, and always gave us the great tips for our trip!

Fell in love with the Sunrise & Princess Cays. We love the private islands! Everything was perfect. Food quality was the best of any cruise we've taken. Outdoor space is nice. Ship is incredibly nice & feels so new!

Overall it was a really fun day, it was just really expensive. They make it seem like you’re getting a good deal, only $330 to go to the Bahamas sounds great right? But they have all these holds, make you pay almost $100 for gratuity even though we didn’t use any services. I was dissapointed pictures were so expensive too, they should be cheaper so everyone has a good memory of their trip

I would definitely cruise with my family on Carnival again. Highly recommend to other families!

Loved the cruise! The places were beautiful. With a group of 17, there was always something for everyone to do!

Ship was clean and staff SUPER great! Entertainment sooooo awesome! Food wonderful and calm setting and waiting staff above and beyond!

I had fun and will most likely go another time with different people to have a different experience.

Even though this cruise was expensive due to the holiday timings, it proved to be a worthwhile experience because it is now uncomfortable to think about travelling anywhere where large gatherings are a norm. This post-COVID-19 world has changed it all!

On a scale of one to ten i give the cruise director Chris Williams a SOLID ONE & that's because someone decided to not have a live Rock or R&B Band. I give the violin and Guitar players a ten, but that wasn't enough entertainment. I give the cruise a Six out of Ten because Carnival security guards let groups of kids run up and down the Hallways all night using profanity and racial slurs. I know the fish shack could've made more money but those disrespectful kids ran off paying customers with their profanity and racial slurs and i know this from other cruise passengers telling me this.

There are definitely somethings that carnival could change to make your cruise and experience better. The entertainment is fun and the variety of food is good. The food it's self is not good. Many times it's cold when it should be hot

It was a great relaxing cruise. The activities were all great and so was the entertainment. My family and I enjoyed it a lot.

The Carnival Sunrise is a nicely remodeled ship. It has most of the upgrades and the decor is nicely done. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The aft pool was a nice break from the craziness of the main pool. Brace for long lines at all food options and seating was very limited in the lido dining options.

Our first time cruising and a trip of a lifetime. We can’t wait till next one.
