We shall visit the Bahamas again however I would rather it be on a different ship.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Luckily we arrived an hour earlier than scheduled. Our thought was to be able to embark when they opened the lines, as we has no plans of hanging around Ft Lauderdale from checkout until 12:30.
The CDC was Not having any of that. The line had already began forming & continued to grow behind us as more passengers arrived.
Per the port authorities we had to complete a health screening form prior to anyone being able to embark.
Which does back to I'm glad we arrived early which put our embarkation right on schedule after we stood & waited more than a hour.
A last the safety & health of everyone was the most vital aspect of our trip.

Our room steward "Chris" was the absolute best! Some of the staff seemed very stuffy but we just disregarded them.

The SunRise is an older ship, with renovations, bit the staff tryst to take very good care of it. >shoulder hump

Ship tip
Practice universal precautions & have a great time.
Princess Cays: we disembarked at our leisure & went over to the Island (more on that later).
Nassau: WOW!!! Erin, our Cruise Director, had to make several announcements that the local government was Not allowing us to disembark. Finally after 3hrs we were finally allowed to visit the Island. (more on that later)
Ft Lauderdale: It was swift & we were on our way without delay!
