Embarkation

2 out of 5
Luckily we arrived an hour earlier than scheduled. Our thought was to be able to embark when they opened the lines, as we has no plans of hanging around Ft Lauderdale from checkout until 12:30. The CDC was Not having any of that. The line had already began forming & continued to grow behind us as more passengers arrived. Per the port authorities we had to complete a health screening form prior to anyone being able to embark. Which does back to I'm glad we arrived early which put our embarkation right on schedule after we stood & waited more than a hour. A last the safety & health of everyone was the most vital aspect of our trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our 1st meal onboard was Guy's! Everything else was good. My husband won a complimentary dinner for two at Farenheit 555, OhMyGosh it was totally DeLish!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did a little of this & some of that. Spent some quiet time in our cabin. It doesn't take much too make us happy. We were overly comfortable & enjoyed the time away from work, friends & family.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
My husband had a wonderful time & I enjoyed watching to delight on his face. This was his 1st cruise.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward "Chris" was the absolute best! Some of the staff seemed very stuffy but we just disregarded them.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The SunRise is an older ship, with renovations, bit the staff tryst to take very good care of it. >shoulder hump

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Chris did a marvelous job of making sure all was well. He more than earned his gratuities & something additional.

Ship tip

Practice universal precautions & have a great time.

Disembarkation

Princess Cays: we disembarked at our leisure & went over to the Island (more on that later). Nassau: WOW!!! Erin, our Cruise Director, had to make several announcements that the local government was Not allowing us to disembark. Finally after 3hrs we were finally allowed to visit the Island. (more on that later) Ft Lauderdale: It was swift & we were on our way without delay!
