Great family vacation with Carnival. Ship was clean and staff were great. Sailing was smooth with good weather and these two ports are both nice places to visit.

Great. We stuck with the time of 1:00 arrival and had no problem parking and getting on the ship. Lunch at Guys BBQ and by then rooms were open. Sail out of New York is great to view.

Main Dinning Room food was the best of my 3 Carnival cruises. Loved Lucky Bowl, Guys Burger, Blue Cantina. Some drinks on board are pre-mixed for bartender "convenience" but I found these to very little to no alcohol in them. If you are paying over $9 a drink I want to see it made by hand. Stick with the Red Frog Pub, Alchemy, and Atrium bars.
Onboard Activities

Pool area got packed on sea days, and you were forced to "towel save" chairs. Mini golf was nice.
Entertainment

Production shows were done well by the cast. Flying Scotsman was Awesome.

Room Attendant Larson was great with 2x daily service. Waiters in dining room good also, and very friendly.
Ship Quality

The whole 3rd 4th floor detour is confusing. I also didn't feel there was enough lounge areas for games, cards, or reading, especially if weather is not the best for pool deck area.
Cabin / Stateroom

Full view cabin was great with good space for 4 and an excellent forward facing view when pulling in and out of port.
Ship tip
It's vacation so be understanding to staff and fellow passengers. If you don't leave trash on the floor, or slam doors at home don't do it on the Sunrise.
This port and country is beautiful. Spent the day swiming and cliff jumping at Admiral House Park (awesome), and excellent get ski tour with H2O Watersport.
