Review summary

For my first cruise it was just ok. It was for my birthday so that made it special, but that is it. Will I take another cruise? I don't think to Mexico, NO. I hope to Cruise to Alaska and see the glaciers, hopefully it will be a better experience.

I guess with over 3,000 guest it is hard to keep something clean. Too many children allowed to do as they wished, especially with food, so some areas were yucky

We had our luggage taken with a late number, we were told that late would be for hours of 9:30 - 10:30... Well lets just say we totally missed our pick up for 10:30. We had to call our ride and tell them we were still on board at 10:30. Very unorganized ! We did not get out until 1100 am... I don't know how they can start letting people on at 11:30 am

I agree with AWashoe not my favorite ship but it’s all they have going out of Long Beach for the 7 day. Wish they would bring back the Pride or Elation. If you don’t like pink this ship is not for you.

Have been on Carnival Ships 4 times and Princess once, last cruise was Princess and it was longer lines and food was ok and definitely going back to Carnival cruising in 4 weeks😊

Splendor is my least favorite cruise boat. Don't let that discourage you to cruise again. There are much better ports and boats. I'd go with Princess cruises next time. Totally different experience.

I imagine a cruise to Alaska to see the glaciers would be ok. Seeing Alaska from a cruise ship is an extremely limited view. You really need to see other parts of the state to truly appreciate the beauty of our state. Either way you go, Alaska is amazing.

It's the ship that you are on. The Splendor has a really weird layout, and you feel like you're constantly having to fight to get where you want to go. Try princess or Royal Caribbean next time!
