An okay cruise

Sail Date: May 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It was a very confusing ship to navigate.

Pros: Outside room plenty of room and kept clean by steward

Cons: Dining arrangement. We were a party of 5 squeezed into a table for 4.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.

Ship Quality
Very confusing layout. On 2 floors that went from one end to the other.
Food and Dining
Food was okay. Got our main course quick and had to wait a long time for dessert and did not get coffee or tea even offered to us a couple of nights.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size of room was nice. Picked our stateroom on 1st floor and did not have any noise from other decks.
Service and Staff
Our dining room staff did not pay much attention to our party.
Entertainment
the entertainment was not the best.
Female singer screamed. Also not a lot of things to do during the day and the pool was closed 2 full days.
