Review summary

We had a nice trip. This was our first cruise, and it was a great experience for the family. Trip length was just about right. Although we enjoyed ourselves, we will probably go back to an all inclusive resort for our next family vacation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet was basically glorified cafeteria food. We're kind of meat and potatoes types, but by the end of the trip we'd had enough of the food

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I felt there was a lack of multiple activities. If you didnt wan to do the motown trivia, you had to wait an hour or so for the next activity. Some of the larger programs were very entertaining, and the family friendly comedy shows were very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
great stewards, always pleasant and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It took a couple days to figure out the layout of the ship. Areas were always clean, and in great condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
we enjoyed the room. Pleasantly located, comfortable, and great condition.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We really enjoyed the "predator" zip line. Be prepared for some steep climbing. The gem was the swimming hole at the end of the tour. The rope swing and rock slide were very refreshing after hiking to the zip line stations. Dont forget your swimming suits. If you need a wonderful guide for PV contact Celia (celiahernandez95@hotmail.com, CEL. 011521322 7285745). She took us on a city tour, to the zip line, and to the beach. She shared lots of local information. She even provided a child car seat for our grandson. Tell her Shawn sent you.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Snorkeling at pelican rock was really good, but watch out for the jellyfish. We chartered a small sailboat (cabo sailing)for the morning. The crew was very pleasant and very relaxed. It would be less expensive to just get the snorkel tour to pelican, but it was still a great time.

Pros: crew and stewards

Cons: limited activities
