An Event to Remember

Sail Date: October 10, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was awkwardly laid out as compared to its Royal Carribean counterparts. Up/down ... whoops wrong staircase / the dining room is in the way again / oops have to get around the casino somehow.

Pros: Ship's Main Show Entertainment - Very High Quality

Cons: Waiter and Assistant Waiter Were Streched Thin and Not Very Sociable

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Much more reserved than Royal Carribean. Perhaps its a different corporate culture. Less diversity to the crew than Royal Carribean.
Children's Programs
Food and Dining
On par with Royal Carribean
Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Gotta take the Cabo by Land and Sea tour in order to get over to San Jose del Cabo ... quite the nice town and the drive between is very scenic.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Stay near the pier. Too far into the older areas and there's not much more than just plain old Mexico.
Mazatlan, Mexico
This port is really dated. Debarking from the cargo terminal makes the whole experience that much less attractive.
