Carnival Splendor Cruise Review to Mexico
Sail Date: May 23, 2010
Ship: Carnival Splendor
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Review SummaryMyself, husband, three teenagers and one of their friends went on the cruise. Everyone had a great time except we missed the Suns Playoff game....(personally that was a minor inconvenience for me but a major disappointment for one of our 19 year old sons).
The staff in the Gold Pearl was so friendly and met all of our requests quickly and with a smile. Our rooms were always straightened up and our steward knew us by name after the first day.
The shows were good, the food good, and the ports were fun. We arranged our zip line tour outside of the cruise with Vallarta Tours and it was FANTASTIC.... we had a blast.
Embarkation and debarkation was easy and fast...we did the self debarkation....Parking was $105 for the week and very convenient.
