This was our first cruise on Carnival and overall we were happy with our experience. The ship was the"Splendor". We went to the Mexican Riviera and the ports were great. The food on the ship was good and the service was excellent. The ship was clean and we loved all of the hot tubs on the ship. We would have liked to have seen more onboard entertainment such as basketball tournament, ping pong tournament, etc. Compared with our other cruises we have been on the cruise director was just not that fun and outgoing. There was only one specialty restaurant which was kind of a bummer but the dinning room was awesome. We have been on three other cruises and would put this one in second place.

Pros: The ports were amazing!!

Cons: The lack of onboard entertainment.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!
