Overall great experience. I would recommend easily. Time in ports always seemd too short, but expected going in. This is a "cruise" with "visits" to ports. Well organized. Some of the bars/lounges on ship get pretty repetitive night after night, same things or music at the "disco."

Pros: More than I expected. Very friendly staff. Good food. Nice Spa.

Cons: Quite rough waters first night and last night out of Long Beach CA. Entertainment on ship ok, seemed more like a High School stage production at times.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!

Amazingly prompt and quick to service. I felt guilty sometimes by all the special "pampering."
Entertainment
Horseback riding in the countryside of Puerto Vallarte was a great experience! Guides were excellent and fun. It was obvious they enjoyed what they were doing.
