In general the cruise was good. The food in the dining room was average. The buffet was good for a buffet. The flexibility of the grill, deli, etc. was good. We cruise a great deal. Usually on the competition. On a whole, I would travel Carnival again, but with more realistic expectation of level of sophistication and customer service.

The cruise director lacks sophistication if the cruise line looks to upgrade travelers. Use of slang and ums in presentation are surprising. We were also disappointed at the few activities on at port days. For those of us who have done this route before, it is nice to stay aboard and have some things to do.

Pros: Our servers was wonderful, Cornelia from Romania table 107. The spa, although not well maintained was a wonderful vacation concept.

Cons: The crew in general was polite, however, I was surprised as the lack of professionalism in a few. For example, 3 of the pool servers were standing at the foot of my chaise, gossiping about people. Bad customer service!
